
Kim Maple's body of powerful and passionate work was initially
about memories. Has now developed into a broader statement about the passionate
nature of our environment in all its forms. Trees to her, give a sense of
place, a timelessness of the land.
Her work is represented in several public institutions in Australia. Kim
has had 30 solo exhibitions around Australia an award winner who is represented
in public and private collections around Australia and overseas. Kim's artwork
is available through 'Yallingup Galleries' Yallingup WA, 'Gallery O' Northbridge
WA,' Ferguson Hart Estate Gallery' Ferguson Valley WA, with agents in Melbourne

Kim Maple graduated from the Perth Technical College in Perth, Western Australia
with a Diploma in Art and Design. Won prize Channel Seven Young Artist Award.
Focusing initially on her career as an illustrator, Kim Maple moved to Melbourne
to further her studies in BA in Fine Art majoring in Print Making, before
returning to Perth.
During her career Kim Maple has produced a significant body of constantly
evolving work. Her extensive practical exploration, influenced by extended
travel through the karri forests in South West and Margaret River region.
Maple's work expresses a contemporary appreciation for the unique West Australian
bush landscape. She is currently working from her studio in Cottesloe.
